Sicily is the Mediterranean’s largest island and is located less than 100 miles from the coast of North Africa, from where it reaps the benefits of warm weather. In spring and summer, visitors to Sicily can enjoy eight to eleven hours of sunshine per day and the average temperate, even in winter, very rarely falls below 10°C.
