All-inclusive immersion with your stay in Brazil

All-inclusive immersion with your stay in Brazil

Brazil has a diverse natural environment: tropical forest, coastline, oceanic archipelago...

  • In the south of the country, discover this imposing nature: the spectacular Iguaçu Falls, 275 waterfalls located between Brazil and Argentina, impress with their power.
  • Equally magisterial: set foot in Amazonia, the world's largest rainforest. From Manaus, follow in the footsteps of the adventurers and explore this enveloping jungle with its 400 billion trees.
  • After your exertions, enjoy the comfort of a cruise on the "Balade carioca" tour of the islands in the Bay of Paraty: dream beaches and calm seas round off your all-inclusive stay in Brazil.
Nature escapades in the city

Nature escapades in the city

  • After this intense change of scenery, set off for a "Rio Escapade", 1h45 from your Rio Das Pedras resort.
The city also boasts some cool oases! The 38-metre-high Mount Corcovado, with its statue of Christ the Redeemer, is one of the symbols of Rio.
  • Another of Brazil's most famous peaks, Sugarloaf, is just fifteen kilometers from Rio's historic center. Rising above the sea, it offers a breathtaking panorama of Guanabara Bay.
  • And if for you an all-inclusive holiday in Brazil means relaxation, sunbathing and a refreshing caipirinha, then you'll find yourself like a true Carioca on the legendary Copacabana beach.
Stay in Brazil: everything is included in the local culture

Stay in Brazil: everything is included in the local culture

During your stay, take the time to immerse yourself in Brazil's festive culture.

  • In Salvador de Bahia, stroll between the colorful houses of the old colonial district, Pelourinho.
  • Just 10km away, take advantage of your stay in Brazil to sample specialties such as acarajés, fried doughnuts, in one of the restaurants around Pituba beach.
  • Finally, head for São Paulo and Ibirapuera Park, 1 hour from your Club Med Lake Paradise resort. Created during the city's 400th anniversary celebrations by architect Oscar Niemeyer, it opens up the modern face of the country.
Escapade to Rio de Janeiro

Our tips: 1. don't miss the Escapade to Rio de Janeiro

4 days / 3 nights, before or after your stay at the Rio das Pedras Resort, make a stopover in Rio, "the most beautiful bay in the world":

  • panoramic views of Rio and its mythical beaches from the peak of Corcovado
  • A cable car ride to Sugarloaf, overlooking the famous Guanabara Bay
  • Dinner at the charming Santa Teresa hotel in the heart of a bohemian district overlooking Rio.
  • Discover Ipanema by bike
the Iguazú Falls

Our tips: 2. the Iguazú Falls

Discover a natural wonder!
Almost as famouis as the Niagara Falls, equally sitauted on a border, between Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazù Falls are a UNESCO World Heritage site.
A collection of 275 waterfalls, they were only discovered in the 16th century by the Spanish explorer Cabeza de Vaca. The Brazilian side of the falls offers a 1.2km route that ends in the Devil's Gorge, on a refreshing footbridge.

3 - What to visit in Brazil

Corcovado

Corcovado

It is Brazil's equivalent of the Statue of Liberty.
At a height of 710m, the peak of Corcovado is home to the emblematic statue of Christ the Redeemer. Created at the request of Brazilian Heitor da Silva Costa by Frenchman Paul Landowsky, it was inaugurated in 1931.
Just 1h45 from your Club Med Rios das Pedras resort, during a "Escapade to Rio", you can reach the summit via the Tijuca forest or take the funicular cablecar. The view is exceptional.

Sugarloaf

Sugarloaf

A rocky peak in Rio de Janeiro, it owes its name to its shape, reminiscent of a block of refined sugar.
Sugarloaf rises directly from the sea, offering a panoramic view of the megalopolis, between mountain and ocean, during a "Escapade to Rio".
Just 1h45 from your Club Med Rios Das Pedras resort, it can be reached by cablecar and is very popular with rock-climbers.

Copacabana Beach

Copacabana Beach

During your "Escapade to Rio", set foot on one of the world's most famous and beautiful beaches!
Shaped like a half-moon, Copacabana stretches along the Atlantica avenue. Just 1h45 from your Club Med Rios Das Pedras resort, it's as popular for its lazy beach as it is for family outings and sporting activities. With its beach volleyball and soccer matches, and numerous bars, it's a lively place day and night.

Our Lord of Bonfim Church

Our Lord of Bonfim Church

On Salvador de Bahia's sacred hill, discover the church of Nosso Senhor de Bonfim, or Lord of the Beautiful Ends. Built in 1745, it's famous for the thousands of colorful bracelets that hang from the entrance gates.
A 1h30 crossing from your Club Med Lake Paradise resort, discover a symbol of Bahia's religious syncretism during your stay in Brazil.

Tijuca National Park

Tijuca National Park

Covering some 4,000ha, making it the world's largest urban forest, it features waterfalls, caves, mountains and hiking trails, just 1h45 from your Club Med Rios das Pedras resort.
During your all-inclusive stay in Brazil, plan a walk to Pico da Tijuca at 1,012m or a trip through the forest on a cogwheel train.
