"We (a couple who are a little over middle aged), have recently arrived home after spending 14 days at Club Med Sohoro Hokkaido Japan on a snowboarding holiday, and we can’t wait to go back again.
It felt like a free holiday given we had paid months before and absolutely everything was included.
The rooms are surprisingly spacious, very well equipped and cleaned beautifully every day.
The food was absolutely amazing with a huge assortment of food from many nationalities to suit all tastes.
But we were there to enjoy the Japanese cuisine and it did not disappoint. The chefs proudly presented each plate, and the food was traditional, high quality, beautifully presented and very tasty. Exquisite!
The bar snacks were next level and they even did a weekly BBQ out in the snow.
Snowboard lessons were included and the instructors were absolutely amazing.
The staff throughout all areas of the resort were extremely friendly helpful, happy and showed a genuine interest in our day and in ensuring we had access to everything we wanted.
The après facilities are excellent, with the bar overlooking the snow, an outdoor Canadian bath, a heated pool and jacuzzi, onsen, day spa, pool tables, tennis tables, gymnasium and nightly entertainment.
Being a smaller resort and with only two resorts on the mountain, the runs weren’t crowded and we didn’t have to queue for lifts which was fantastic.
We can’t wait to return, and definitely recommend Club Med Sohoro Hokkaido."

5/5 • 5/04/2025Incredible hospitality and attention from Edu, Alicia, Luca and special teaching from Gabrielle in the ski team, Tasman, Dan, Josh in resort and outstanding food, service and entertainment. Nothing was too much trouble for the week. Slightly haphazard risky service with alcohol free orders at the bar, and the private transfer to the airport was an hour late but hopefully pending a refund. Highly recommended for all age groups. Would love some child free space to escape to in addition to the onsen and some phone free tables in the restaurant rather than be constantly bombarded by adults and kids eating and using noisy devices at the same time. Highly recommended.

Hidden Gem
5/5 • 3/04/2025We have stayed in all clubmed properties in Hokkaido that welcome kids and I have to say Sahoro is now my favorite!
Not only we still have amazing powder snow at the end of March and even first week of April, it's a more compact design where we don't have to walk so much like in Tomamu just from the room to the ski locker or restaurant. It's also a true ski in and out compared to Kiroro Grand where it's impossible for snowboarder to make it back to hotel without taking the gondola
However what impressed us most is the attentive service!
We especially thanks Tona for making arrangements for our meals and the nice setting for my husband birthday. Yang was also very helpful in getting us drink. The pettie club staff line fristy and sissy and Aldy are all very wonder and got on so with my kid.
My snowboard instructor Migual was also fantastic I enjoyed the tree runs a lot!
We also enjoyed the shows every nights all GOs have so much energy and dedicated to their performance !
Overall sahoro is definitely a hidden gem despite its the oldest clubemd but it's also a very cozy one with phenomenal service which makes it stand out from the other two properties. We will come back for more powder!

Great family experience and ski school
5/5 • 2/04/2025Excellent family experience with skiing and full-day activities for kids and quality adult ski lessons. The staff are super-friendly and keep kids occupied with shows and events until ~9-10pm if you want.
For adults, I skied with Diego in Club 4 who has lots of great technical advice for intermediate skiers. Try to keep up…!

Sahoro in early spring
5/5 • 1/04/2025Fantastic experience. Family has a wonderful time. Love the energy of all the staff. Logan and his team made it one of our most memorable holiday. We had great ski instructors - Craig, Dodo, Edu Diego.
Dogan F&B manager was wonderful. Especially Owen who was so attentive to all our needs
