Cherating Beach Малайзія

I went to club Med Cherating with my wife and young family this April 2025.

We had the most incredible holiday experience ever.

The staff were amazing people who went out of their way to make sure we had the best family vacation possible.

From reception staff, house keeping, the hospitality and bar staff to the life guards and kids club staff- everyone we came across was amazing.

The resort itself is incredible. It is brilliantly laid out, clean, well maintained and there is so much to do for everyone of all ages.

The kids had the best time and can’t wait to go back. They made so many friends and built close relationships with the staff there. They were heartbroken when we had to leave.

The food is incredible and there is so much to chose from. The staff and chef are willing to accommodate wherever possible and make an effort to remember everyone’s names.

I would like to mention a few of the staff who went above and beyond for me and my family.

Narumi head of Sports and Rec,
Cami and Elaine from the Circus,
Ishmael the costume designer and Kgomoto from the Kids Club.

Most of all I want to make a special mention to the Cheif of the village Clayton Da Matta. From the day we arrived to our departure, Clayton was a stand out. He made so much effort with the kids making sure they had a holiday they would never forget. You can clearly see he loves his job and is highly respected by all his staff.

Every staff member we spoke to had nothing but positive comments about Clayton and what a fantastic chief he was to work for. He was always around, speaking to guests, playing with the kids, participating in shows and entertaining the crowds into the night.

I cannot thank Clayton and his team at ClubMed Cherating enough for an incredible family vacation.

We are already planning our next holiday back to Cherating in August this year.

I went to club Med Cherating with my husband and young family this April 2025. From the time we were picked up at the airport to the time the driver dropped us back at the airport at the end of our trip, everything about club med, the staff and the whole experience was amazing.
The staff are the most amazing people who went to so much effort and are genuinely kind people. From reception staff, house keeping, the hospitality and bar staff to the life guards and kids club staff- everyone we came across was amazing. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, well maintained and there is so much to do. We felt right at home. The kids had the best time and can’t wait to go back. It’s the ideal holiday for everyone- very kid oriented with the kids club and facilities, but also perfect for couples or singles. The food is incredible and there is so much variety and always fresh. The layout of the resort is so convenient and easy to move around.
While all the staff were amazing there were a few that just made our trip so special- Rudy the head chef, Dahl in the Security team, Semmy the life guard, Carol in events, Narumi head of Sports and Rec, Cami and Elaine from the Circus, Ishmael the costume designer and Kgomoto from the Kids Club. Of course the chief of the village Clayton- amazing at his job and so friendly and welcoming and professional.
We cannot wait to go back!!! Thank you to everyone there for the amazing experience. We felt right at home

Great conditions, plenty of extraordinary food options, nice helpful staff. Went there for the kids activities though. The kids were thrilled to participate every day. Adults also have watersports wall climbing, trapeze, archery and a great pool

It was one of the very best holidays we have ever had. The resort is in tbd most stunning location. The private beach and water sports were fantastic. The whole GO team made our experience unforgettable. Thank you.
