Amazing family trip in Cancun. Augamarina oceanfront rooms were beautiful and comfortable. All of the Kids and Teen’s Club staff were wonderful, very caring, friendly and energetic. Sander and Pierre were amazing, encouraging our shy children to participate and the girls kept asking to return the next day. The entertainment staff (circus, dancers) were absolutely top notch, very impressed by their evening shows and treatment of the kids at the trapeze. Yoga and aquafit were excellent too! Two hour fun volleyball games were also a nice surprise.

Snorkelling off the beach was a real treat. As others have said, the reef is a bit bleached, but not having to take an excursion to snorkel made it worth it. The main beach is a great party spot with food and music, and the pool and beach at Augamarina provide a quiet spot to relax if that’s your vibe.

The food is better than expected given some reviews saying it is not great. The buffets have great variety, Mexican during the day. A bit bland, but given they’re serving a diverse group, it’s to be expected. Everything was fresh. We tried the evening restaurants which take reservations. Also good experiences and it was not difficult to get a table.

The room could use a few paint touch ups, but it was beautiful and clean.

All of the staff we met were amazing. Kudos to you all who clearly work very hard to make it a fun and relaxing experience.

We will definitely go back and recommend to any family looking for a relaxing and fun trip with so many options for activity and laying about when activities are done!

Everything about this resort is top notch. I can’t find anything that wasn’t great, from the accommodation and amenities to the wonderful staff. Would recommend this resort to anyone. One of the staff who was particularly nice was Jersey who always had a smile and a minute to talk.

We’ve visited this Club Med Cancun five times in four years and we love the resort—especially Taco Arte, Aguamarina, and the brand new Aquapark and Mini Club for the kids. The resort is very unique in Cancun: low rise buildings, private beach, very calm and relaxed athmosphere, great rooms.

However, compared to 2022-2023, the food quality has declined: less variety, more repetition (same fish, same beef, same taco toppings), less attention to detail, and fewer fresh details. We sometimes even had to hunt for limes and tortillas. The standard was just higher in 2022 & 2023.

Big thanks to Mario (Taco Arte), Gama (Bar), and Luis (Luggage) — they were fantastic and super nice!

While overall the G.O. team remained helpful, they seemed less cheerful and happy than in 2022 & 2023. We wonder what has changed.

The prepaid airport transfer feels overpriced for a 15-min ride. On arrival, we waited over 20 mins; on departure, rescheduling by one hour due to a flight delay was surprisingly difficult. Next time, we’ll take a taxi.

Overall, an amazing week in this resort again, although we consider whether we may choose another club next time for the reasons mentioned above.

AMAZING FOOD – The variety of seafood, meats, fresh fruits, and custom omelets made with incredible free-range eggs left us speechless. Club Med truly exceeded our expectations on the food front!
A special shout-out to IRAD, who oversees the main buffet (apologies if I got the name wrong). He is EXCEPTIONAL! Our son has gluten allergies, and the attention to detail and care for guests with dietary restrictions were extraordinary.
TEEN/KIDS CLUBS – All three of our teens integrated effortlessly into the organized activities, forging new lifelong friendships. The clubs are divided into well-thought-out age groups, allowing for age-appropriate activities and social connections—both during the day and at the legendary Club Med evening parties!
UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES – From Trapeze to Sailing!
My wife, who just celebrated her 50th birthday, found herself soaring through the air on the trapeze and even being caught mid-air by the incredible Circus Team! This team made her feel like a true aerial performer, both on the trapeze and even during dinner where we ate and got to know each other! Huge shout-out to OUSSINE (incredible++) and BLAKE (great dancer as well), as well as OUMANIMA, BETINA, and YERKO for making it such a memorable experience!
Even for a beach bum like me, there was so much to do!
-Breathtaking sandy beaches with calm, warm waters
-Pickleball (a sport I had never played before but found addictively fun!)
-SAILING TEAM made our first-time sailing experience absolutely amazing!
-Archery ... i got coached and my arrow hit the centre yellow! what a thrill!
-FOAM PARTY ON THE BEACH ... WOW!!!!
My wife who did MANY of the classes was really impressed by MAGALIE's class and the HITT class. they really have special people working at this Club Med!!!
THE NIGHTLIFE – Club Med’s social atmosphere draws you in and connects you with others in a way that feels effortless. My wife and I met so many incredible couples that we’re already talking about reuniting here next year!
MANAGEMENT. We noticed a few areas for improvement and provided feedback during our stay. Within 1-2 days, Club Med Cancun made policy changes that (1) enhanced safety—ensuring proper supervision for Kids Club activities when in the ocean so that risk of drowning mitigated; and (2) Amplified the fun by ensuring staff members (including at the bars) embraced the Club Med vibe—SMILING, engaging, and creating an atmosphere of FUN!
A big THANK YOU to ELISABETH, who really made us feel heard, and to the new Chief of Village, JOSE, for making these changes a priority. Jose is an incredible Master of Ceremony, ensuring that every night’s entertainment and party start off on the perfect note! WELL DONE!
LAST but not LEAST .. my boys want me to thank SENDER (GO of the 11-13yo) who was incredible and my son had a blast with him. Special thanks to RENEILLE from the 14-17 club who was inclusive and above and beyond! And my 19 yo oldest appreciated the fun nights with PIERRE (GO) and the bartender Thomas who stood out and ensured great energy for what I imagine was a drunken crew of yound adults..lol.

RoomsWe were told in advance not to expect this luxury resort to have nice rooms - a bit humid and dark; but bed and pillows very comfrotable, as was shower pressure. Very clean and special shout out to MARIA who did great job servicing our room for 10 days.
Food and drinksFood is excellent +++

I had a really great time with my friends for her bachelorette and Frantz and Claudia from club med were amazing, helped us a lot and were very kind. Great experience and being a Haitian it was amazing to have people who speak your native language. Jonathan and yessica from club med were also amazing, took care of us by the beach and were very helpful and it was a great customer service!! 10/10! Will definitely come back! Perfect experience!! Club med day pass is amazing! Worth the money!
