A former world-ranked junior and seasoned coach to top Japanese professionals, including Olympians and Grand Slam finalists, Frédéric brings a unique global perspective to our academy. His coaching, rooted in his vibrant Club Med upbringing and the dynamic play tennis!™ methodology, creates an effective learning environment for players of all levels.

Born into the multicultural heart of Club Med in Mauritius, with a French Chef de Village father and a Japanese tennis G.O. mother, Frédéric's fluency in French, Japanese, and English enriches his coaching approach.

Frédéric's dynamic play tennis!™ methodology prioritizes positive energy and athletic enjoyment to effectively teach modern tennis concepts and techniques. By fostering a state of "flow," students learn naturally and instinctively. His progressive approach uses structured drills, varied exercises, and game scenarios with balanced feedback to develop well-rounded players with a positive mindset. Sessions conclude with tailored cardio or match play.

Join our 2-day group lesson package for a fun and effective learning experience. You'll benefit from four focused 2-hour training sessions led by your coach, with personalized attention in small group settings as you strengthen your technique, strategy, and point play.

Price: ¥43,800 per person (includes welcome cocktail, 4 hours of daily training, and individual video analysis)

Training hours: 4 hours daily (10:00-12:00, 14:00-16:00)

Age: Suitable for ages 12 and older

Whether you're hitting the court solo, as a couple, with family, or in a parent-child session, our expert coaches will tailor each lesson to help you achieve your specific tennis goals.

Price:
• ¥23,000 per person, per hour
• ¥11,800 per hour, for each additional participant

Secure your spot by signing up at the resort's activity counter at least one day before your preferred session. Solo players are welcome to join existing groups, depending on availability and skill compatibility.

Our Summer Tennis Academy will be available from 20 June to 14 September 2025.

Please note: Accommodation at Kiroro Grand is not included and must be booked separately.

Group Lesson Capacity
Group lessons are conducted with a maximum of four (4) students per coach. Depending on the number of participants and their respective skill levels, additional lesson times may be offered. Guests booking for a group of five (5) or more should be aware that the entire group may not be accommodated with the same coach or during the same time slot. It is advisable to plan accordingly.

On-site Group Lesson Integration
Guests enrolling in group lessons upon arrival may be integrated into existing group sessions based on availability and the participant's skill level on the day of participation.

Signing Up & Paying for Your Lessons:
• Booking at the Resort? Simply head to the sign-up counter to secure your spot.
• Payment: Lesson fees will be conveniently added to your resort bill and settled when you check out.

What Happens if You Need to Cancel:
Group Lessons:
• Cancellations made more than two (2) days prior to the scheduled lesson start date will not incur any charges.
• Cancellations made one (1) day prior to the scheduled lesson start date will be subject to fifty percent (50%) of the total lesson fee.
• Cancellations made on the scheduled lesson start date will be subject to one hundred percent (100%) of the total lesson fee.
Private Lessons:
• Cancellations made more than three (3) days prior to the scheduled lesson start date will not incur any charges.
• Cancellations made two (2) days prior to the scheduled lesson start date will be subject to fifty percent (50%) of the total lesson fee.
• Cancellations made one (1) day prior to the scheduled lesson start date will be subject to one hundred percent (100%) of the total lesson fee.
• Cancellations made on the scheduled lesson start date will be subject to one hundred percent (100%) of the total lesson fee.

If We Need to Adjust Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event of unavoidable circumstances such as adverse weather conditions or unexpected coach unavailability, it may be necessary to cancel scheduled lessons, either in full or in part. In such instances, a fair resolution will be provided, which may include a refund for the pro-rated portion of the lesson that could not be conducted.

Please be advised that the resort is unable to offer special refunds for travel-related expenses incurred due to lesson cancellations. Any modifications or cancellations pertaining to your travel arrangements will be subject to the terms and conditions of your holiday sales voucher.
