Corcovado
It is the Brazilian equivalent of the Statue of Liberty. From the top of its 710m, the peak of Corcovado hosts the emblematic statue of Christ the Redeemer. Built at the request of the Brazilian Heitor da Silva Costa by the Frenchman Paul Landowsky, it was inaugurated in 1931. 1 hour 45 minutes from your Club Med Rios das Pedras resort, during an "Escapade à Rio", you can reach the summit by the Tijuca forest or take the funicular. The view is exceptional.
