Buccaneer's Creek Martinique - French Caribbean

We were hesitant to visit Martinique due to French not being our first language, but we had zero problems. The staff were very accomidating. We stayed at Les Boucaniers from March 29th to April 5th in room 616 in the Marie-Galante building. The room was renovated and met all of our needs. Our cleaning staff were phenominal.

We are beach people and spent every day relaxing at the main beach. There were no issue finding chairs or shade. We like to walk on the beach and would walk to the L'O restaurant and then head all the way to the stairs that lead to Sainte Anne. Needless to say we got out 15,000 steps in every day.

The Village Chief Said was everywhere. He always greeted us with a smile and genuinely cared how our days were going. I have to mention two staff members that went above and beyond every day we were there. Fredo and Sarah from the main bar made our trip all that more enjoyable. I can't say how lucky the Club is to have them as employees.

The food was excellent and it varied from day to day. I wish we could get some of the cheeses they had here in Canada. So good. We ate lunch at L'O a couple times and enjoyed it. Make sure to get a drink of the day from the bartender Oliver. He made some of the best drinks I've ever had in the Islands (this is our 21st Island).

We enjoyed the entertainment and loved the live music preformed by The Wanted Duo. They played a variety of music and instruments. Loved the saxiphone at the main beach as the sun was setting. The show the water sports team put onat the main beach was thehighlight of my trip. I can't believe they were able to do a pyramid!!! The Rum Run was a lot of fun and highly recommended. The champagne pyramid and fireworks on the white night was quite the spectacle. Well done!!!

All in all we had an amazing time. The only issue I had was there wasn't any men's large 45 shirts in the gift shop the entire week we were there. Not an issue since I brought my Turks and Caicos one, but I really wanted to add a Les Boucaniers one to my collection.

A wonderfully week in this wonderful club med with the two best GO Ado. I went to a lot of club med in my live and every time it was the same thing, I went to the ado club the first night and then I just stay with all the new friends that I made and never came back to the club. This time it was different I cause Guillaume and Cleophee I always had fun and for the very first time I stayed with this club the whole week and it was a perfect week. No for real they were perfect always let me do the thing I want never forced me and this this is what I searched in a GO. very happy to have had this week bye and thanks for cleophee and Guillaume

We loved every minute of it! The beach was amazing - long with private coves and trees, so much to explore. You can do snorkeling right off the beach! They also have a boat to take you further, which was pretty nice too. We spent a lot of time on the dock, stargazing at night and watching fish in the early morning. The dock is a signature thing of this resort! The food is always great, French really know how to cook! We had a dinner in the restaurant by reservation only and taught kids how to eat slowly and have conversation. We lasted about 1 hour and 50 min, a bit of short of recommended 2-2.5 hours. Still more to learn re: which fork to use and how to act at the dinner table. There were a lot of teenagers so our kids went to the teens/junior club. French kids they met were super nice and willing to translate as long as our kids were willing to push themselves out of their comfort zone and show attempts to learn French. A great way to pick up another language at the right time when languages are easier to learn. Cleo and Gulleimy who supervise teens did an amazing job in moving these kids from one activity to another, from one game to another in a most fun way. Managing kids of this age group plus with different languages is an impossible job and these two have a true talent! Best memories ever! We also tried windsurfing which was probably even more Adrenalin than going down on a double black diamond. The GO who does lessons is super fun, very knowledgeable about the wind and boat. He collects people periodically when they drift away and drives on his boat which is also super fun. Power walks were also awesome, especially the 3 hour one. We tried padel which is easier than tennis and somewhat similar to pickleball but with tennis ball. Overall came back home with lots of energy, better blood pressure, and better sleep-thanks to Clubmed!

The yoga, breathing and meditation classes were by far my favorite activity. Magalee was the best and help me relax my body even more.
I also really liked the water sports such as paddle board and snorkeling.
The sport of paddle was also really fun

We went for a week to the club med les boucaniers. As a teen, I spent my days with the 'club ado' and the GOs Cleophée and Guillaume. Every day was filled with numerous sportif activities, games and I made great friends with a lot of kids my age. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
