Its legendary primary forest, landscapes, ravines and black sand beaches make it a unique island. Boats alongside the quay, no water sports.

Dia 6: Santo Antao & Sao Vicente

Morning stopover on the naturally beautiful island of Santo Antao, with its fertile valleys dotted with picturesque villages and terraced plantations. Short sail to the island of Sao Vincente, whose capital Mindelo is one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Afternoon and overnight in Sao Vincente. No water sports on either island.

The southernmost island of Cape Verde owes its name to the Pico do Fogo volcano, the highest and largest in Cape Verde. Colonised by the Portuguese, Sao Filipe, the island's main town, is built on the western flank of the volcano, dominated by its 9km-wide caldera. Ship alongside, no water sports.
